MEET MERCEDES

From once being a girl in the GEMS program to now serving as Secretary on the Board of Directors, my journey with GEMS has truly come full circle. This organization helped shape the woman I am today, and I’m honored to give back in a meaningful way.
As Secretary, I’m excited to support the mission of GEMS and help ensure other girls receive the same encouragement, guidance, and empowerment I once did. I believe in showing up with authenticity, compassion, and a commitment to growth—both for myself and the next generation of leaders we’re raising through this work.
Being part of this board feels like both a responsibility and a homecoming, and I’m looking forward to all we’ll accomplish together.
